Tony Wyer

Position: Managing Director

Tony has had a life long association with boats and boating and purchased Fletcher’s in 2003.

Having previously been involved with much larger sail boats this was something of a departure from the norm. However, as MD of SBS Trailers and exclusive supplier to Fletcher there was not much he did not know about the original company or the brand.

He is now looking at a long term reinvestment plan that retains the history and heritage of the brand whilst introducing new models and refinements to keep moving the product forward.

Andy Wyer

Positon: Sales Director

Like his Father Andy has spent most of his life in the Marine Industry.  Despite a brief foray into the world of high end computer software  he came to his senses and returned to the 'glamour and excitement' of the marine industry. It is his mission to continually develop the brand and establish it in new markets around the world.

Roy Walker

Position: Production Manager

Roy started in 1968 with the original Fletcher Company

Roy used to ‘catch’ rides at Cannock Chase Water (where Fletcher do the testing) when skipping games at school on a Wednesday afternoon to learn how to water ski!

"No wet suits, no life jacket – just your skis and your trunks!"

From that Roy got a job waxing moulds in the summer holidays and started officially as a refinisher apprentice. Later Roy was heavily involved with the Fletcher trailer department – Miles Products. He helped to develop and ran the bunk and roller trailer department for our boats.

Roy is now the production manager and over sees all the production of the new boats built in our factory in Wolverhampton.

Joe Jellicoe

Started 2008
Position: Product Development, Sales and Marketing

Joe started with us in 2008 after graduating in Product Design and Digital Modelling. After being introduced to wakeboarding 6 years ago he has developed a keen interest in powerboats and had completely restored two Fletchers before starting with the company. He likes to spend as much time out on the water as possible - even when away from work!

Ed Williams

Test Rider

Ed has been a test rider with us since last year and is one of the top riders in the UK. He has helped us develop the wakesport range and given us great feed back on the wake of our boats. 

Mena Singh

Position: Secretary and Office Manager

Mena is responsible for all the orders and dispatches that arrive and leave our factory. She keeps all of us in the office on our toes and you are not to leave any chocolate on her desk and expect it to be there on you return!

Liz Bowyer

Position: Financial Controller

"If it ain’t paid for it ain’t leaving the factory."

Liz looks after the finances and has the final say on if you get your boat or not.  It’s best to be nice!

Dave Williams

Started: 1978
Research and Development and Chief Engineering

Dave was orinally started work with Fletcher in the late 1970’s to develop the Fletcher Tournament Ski Boats. He was overall national senior water ski champion in 1978 and 1980.

His son Ed is the British Open Wakeboard Champion 2008 and learnt to ride behind a Fletcher. They both have helped greatly and had a lot of input into the development of the new Wakesport Range.

Pete Smith

Started 1966
Position: Head Fitter

Pete started when he was 16 and has done everything from fitting to laminating (and he is still learning!) He was part of the original Fletcher race team and travelled all over Europe racing the Arrowbolt 21’s and 25’s. Pete and the original team broke the World Water Ski Race back in the early 1980’s.

Simon Wilkes

Started 1989
Position: Boat Repairs and Finisher

Simon is responsible for the fantastic finish and shine of every boat that comes out of our factory. He covers everything from minor repairs of customer’s boats to full polishes.

Ian Rowely

Started 1995
Position: Laminator

Ian started in this trade making canoes and then racing sail dinghies. He started with Fletcher in 1995. Ian covers everything from the gel coat to the different layers of glass fibre matting that goes into all our boats.
